Hmmm.
Trying to figure out what is this "state" that God has placed me in... it seems unfinished, anyways, but that may well be my own doing more than His.

I'm trying to figure out that "state" bit, too. It seems a state should be relatively permanent. Yet, this side of the grave, not much seems permanent. Then, too, there is the reaching of a state that is to become permanent.
So, I wonder if "state" in this case may refer to "condition", and not complaining about conditions in which one finds oneself--a sort of abandonment to Divine Providence, if you will.
