Today the Church in Rome celebrates the feast of Fra Angelico.  I went to pay him a visit this afternoon, and the candle at his tomb was lit and he was all decorated with flowers.
Then I went to school, and there were parrots in the trees by the gates!

The context is moderation in diet--making sure you stop eating before you're full, or else you won't be able to pray and study afterward.  And, intemperance leads to all sorts of sins.
