The first few days, the Church seems to ease us into Lent. Sundays don't count as part of the forty days, so we start from a Wednesday, and then the first Sunday isn't so far away. The first full week seems the longest to me, though, and here we are.
Today's station, St. Peter in Chains. Nice church, near school.
Prayer, fasting, almsgiving--three weapons against the flesh, pride of life, and pride of the eyes. Something interesting to look up.
