| Back home, we were privileged to have a guest Dominican visit for a week, teaching us about mercy. No small feat in the middle of the rural Bible Belt, where religious habits are never seen! |

I love the guesthouse and the small visitor.
I wonder if Mr. Hey was a monument mason advertising his craft... that chiseling has endured, but it looks like it started off pretty well, too. Or maybe we just haven't the patience to engrave our grafiti properly anymore.
There was quite a bit of rather old, chiseled graffiti, but his certainly stood out. We would need patience, art, and tools to continue such a tradition, though. With all our modern accoutrements, we seem to lack these.
I hope the small visitor also appreciated the guesthouse!
