and...

...no pope yet.

An example of how Rome is taking it.  As I was going to eat with a school companion, we saw this poster still up and took pictures of it last Thursday--a week after the Holy Father's abdication.  "You will always be with us.  Thank you" from the city of Rome.

And now the city is on tenterhooks, waiting for the white smoke to rise.  People have started pouring in to wait, and hope the conclave with comply with their travel plans.  And others are hoping that there won't be interference with this Sunday's Rome Marathon.
